The Chapter Ride (For Dick Landess)
Kick stands up, with skies so blue,
Chapter Members ride a road that’s new.
Tires and engines, hum an ear pleasing hymn,
They lean into the curves, defying gravity again.
CMA Patches and Colors, are worn with grace,
Wind-pressed smiles on their face.
Through mountain curves and valleys deep,
Safety on the road they gladly keep.
They share the road, they share their days,
With laughter enjoying freedom’s praise.
When storms roll in, they do not fear,
For God their Road Captain, is always near.
With a throttle twist, all souls in flight,
Bike chrome gleams, in the fading light.
Not just friends, but a very bless crew
Enjoying the roads they’ve ridden through
Chapter Members are bound, by faith and steel,
With open hearts, and prayers that heal.
Their journey’s more, than the miles they rode
They will ride thanking God, till Heaven’s their home.
Through storms or shine, their friendship extends,
For bike riding is best, when shared with friends
When the day grows quiet and the ride ends,
They park their bikes, now closer as friends.
And when the journey’s miles are done,
The Chapter Members, are together as one.
For Friendship Road has no dead end,
They are forever and always best of friends
Friendship Road, has no dead end
The Chapter Members will always remember
Dick Landess, their CMA Family and Friend.
